The TEDDY Chair, Annagrazia Altavilla, consultant and expert of the Council of Europe, is very pleased to announce the approval by the Committee on Bioethics of Council of Europe of a Concept note on “Participation of children in the decision-making process on matters regarding their health”. It constitutes an important step in drawing the pathway for strengthening children’s participation in the decision-making in health and biomedical sector. A survey, developed with the support of TEDDY, will be released in the next few days with the aim of collecting information on national provisions, guidelines and practices.
The Teddy Network will be strongly engaged in contributing to this initiative. More details will be soon released.
