TEDDY Network’s young persons advisory groups (YPAG) from Albania (KIDS Albania) and Italy (KIDS Bari) have participated at the 2023 International Children’s Advisory Network (iCAN) Summit that was held in La Jolla, San Diego, California from July 10 to July 14, 2023.
During these intense and productive 5 days of meeting, participants had the opportunity to contact and hear from industry, research and patient representatives to learn more about innovation in paediatrics. They have learned about paediatric clinical trials, how to have a more active Paediatric Patient Voice and Genomic medicine. Participants also had the opportunity to contact directly with industry during a Lab Tour.
KIDS Albania and KIDS Bari also presented their ideas on children’s participation in decision-making process on matters regarding their health.
