TEDDY’s children engagement with the INVENTS PEG

In the INVENTS project TEDDY is tasked with delivering the necessary knowledge and know-how to a young group of young patients affected by Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) or Multiple Sclerosis (MS) through the setup and development of a Patients Expert Group (PEG).

From the 1st  to the 3rd of November an international group of young patients was hosted in Bari to participate in training sessions delivered by experts on the topics of biomedical research, health data collection, management and reuse, clinical research methodologies and meaningful patient involvement.

All sessions included participative activities, like quizzes or practical demonstrations. This newly formed PEG will be consulted during the whole INVENTS project, bringing children’s voice into all its aspects to stakeholders and researchers.
