EPTRI the new establishing European Research Infrastructure entirely dedicated to paediatric research and coordinated by Consorzio per Valutazioni Biologiche e Farmacologiche (CVBF), has successfully submitted the application to be included in the ESFRI Roadmap 2021, on the 9th of September.
The inclusion of EPTRI in the Roadmap will be of great relevance as it will recognise EPTRI as a competitive infrastructure able to provide high-quality services to the paediatric community.
EPTRI has received political support from the following 18 EU and non-EU Governments: Albania, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Spain, The Netherlands, UK and Ukraine.
Moreover, 109 Institutions from 25 countries have signed the EPTRI Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was one of the mandatory documents for the application. Likewise, TEDDY Network signed the MoU and provided a letter of Expression of Commitment (EoC) to EPTRI.
The result of the evaluation process will be communicated between June-September 2021, while the official launch of the ESFRI Roadmap is expected on October – November 2021.
TEDDY has also signed the Joint Research Unit Agreement to set up the EPTRI National Node in Italy to link the Italian scientific community to EPTRI.
